LIGALY Recieves UJA Grant for New Initiative Targeting Jewish Communities
LIGALY recently received a grant from The United Jewish Appeal (UJA) to launch an innovative new project, The Aleph Project (TAP) for Jewish GLBT Youth and their families. TAP will engage Synagogues and Jewish Community Centers (JCC) across Long Island to sustain connections of GLBT youth to Jewish life and experience through activities that provide a safe space, increase supports, and help youth to successfully integrate their GLBT and Jewish identities into one whole person.
LIGALY is now hiring a new full-time position, Jewish Outreach and Education Coordinator to implement TAP. Read the position description and how to apply byclicking here.
